About this vacancy
PMDC invites applications for the post of Associate (Electrical) on open-term contract (permanent basis) with market-based negotiable salary, posted at PMDC Project / Mining Site, Balochistan.
Duties and responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery and installations at mining/project sites
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Inspect, repair and maintain motors, control panels, power distribution systems, switchgear and other electrical installations
- Assist in installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
- Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance and maintain records of electrical maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, HSE requirements and applicable standards
- Provide day-to-day electrical support for smooth mining/project operations
Eligibility criteria
- Diploma or Bachelor's - B.Tech (Electrical), Diploma in Electrical, in Electrical Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Minimum B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical from HEC recognized institution
- Candidates with domicile of Balochistan will be preferred
- Departmental candidates must apply through proper channel
- Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained
- No TA/DA admissible for interview
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 2 years
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in electrical operation, maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably at mining, industrial or heavy engineering sites
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 47 years
