About this vacancy
PMDC invites applications for the post of Maintenance Lead/Sr. Associate on open-term contract (permanent basis) with market-based negotiable salary, posted at PMDC Project / Mining Site, Balochistan.
Duties and responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and project facilities
- Ensure equipment availability, timely troubleshooting and minimum operational downtime in coordination with production and mine engineering teams
- Prepare and monitor maintenance schedules, inspections, records and reports, and supervise maintenance staff and contractors
- Conduct root cause analysis, identify process and cost improvements, and ensure compliance with safety requirements and approved SOPs
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) from HEC recognized institution
- Candidates with domicile of Balochistan will be preferred
- Departmental candidates must apply through proper channel
- Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained
- No TA/DA admissible for interview
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in electrical/mechanical operation, maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably at mining, industrial or heavy engineering sites
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 40 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 20 Oct 2026.
