About this vacancy
Member (Implementation & Monitoring) in SPPS-I at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, responsible for the monitoring and evaluation framework of national development projects and programmes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare the Monitoring and Evaluation framework, strategy and system/dashboard in consultation with stakeholders
- Review major development projects, analyze progress, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
- Provide evidence-based guidelines to implementing agencies for timely project completion
- Update CDWP, ECNEC and the Planning Commission on implementation status with monitoring data
- Analyze project inputs, outputs, outcomes and impact against planned targets
- Maintain assets registry of the closed projects and programmes
- Participate in CDWP and ECNEC meetings regarding project approvals
- Prepare implementation plans for monitoring and evaluation of development plans
- Carry out other assignments from senior leadership
Eligibility criteria
- Master's or PhD - PGD Civil Engineering, PGD Electrical Engineering, PGD Executive Manager in Project Management, PGD Project Management, PhD Civil Engineering, PhD Electrical Engineering, MBA Project Management, MS Civil Engineering, MS Project Management, MSc Civil Engineering, MSc Project Management, in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, recognised by HEC
- Master's, MS/MSc, MBA, PGD or PhD in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Project Management as listed in the advertisement
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 14 years
- Minimum 14 years of relevant experience in implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development projects and programmes
