Network / System Administrator

Network / System Administrator at the Artificial Intelligence Delivery Unit, administering the Unit's network, servers and end-user infrastructure.

• Administer the Unit's network, on-premise servers, cloud environments (in coordination with the CISO) and end-user IT infrastructure
• Configure and maintain access controls, VPNs, backups and disaster-recovery arrangements for the Unit's systems
• Monitor system availability and performance; diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents
• Support the provisioning of compute, storage and networking resources for AI/ML workloads and GPU workstations
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventories and vendor/AMC records for hardware and network equipment

• Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Telecommunications Engineering, in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering/Sciences, Computer Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field from an HEC-recognized university
• Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
• Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Cloud infrastructure administration (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Server and endpoint administration (Linux/Windows)
• Backup, disaster-recovery and monitoring tools
• Basic security hygiene and incident escalation

• Required experience: At least 4 years
• At least 4 years of experience administering networks, servers and cloud infrastructure in a production environment
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 26 – 45 years
