Online applications are invited from qualified Patwar Pass candidates holding domicile of District Abbottabad for filling vacant positions on regular basis in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad. Four posts of Patwari (BPS-09) are advertised, open to male and female candidates. Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification. Note: the printed advertisement states the last date for submission of the online application as 30 September 2026, whereas the ETEA project listing shows a last date of 30 October 2026; the advertised date has been recorded here. The recruitment is conducted by Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) on behalf of Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Abbottabad.

• Intermediate - FA, F.Sc, Equivalent qualification, Patwar Pass Exam Certificate, recognised by Recognized Board
• At least FA or F.Sc, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized Board
• Name must be registered in the Patwar Pass Candidate Register maintained in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Abbottabad (DK Office)
• Domicile of District Abbottabad
• Candidates should be eligible in all respects before or by the last date of receipt of applications
• Applications received after the due date will not be entertained; incomplete applications or applications submitted with fake documents or information shall be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process
• Candidates working in Government or Semi-Government bodies should apply through proper channel
• Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with a separate fee
• In case of a foreign degree, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview

• No prior experience is required for this post.

• Age is counted on the closing date, 30 Sept 2026.
• Age relaxation is allowed as per government rules; the advertisement does not give the figures.

An upper limit of 35 years means you must not have reached that age on the date age is counted. A relaxation applies only to the candidates the advertisement names, with the proof it asks for.

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. However detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority and if a candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he or she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority. Candidates qualifying the ETEA test shall subsequently be screened for relevance in terms of the eligibility criteria. Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only. Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slip from www.etea.edu.pk; test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip. No separate call letter will be issued to candidates for the screening test through postal or courier means.
