Senior Manager (Emission Trading System) (Re-advertised Oct 2026)

Senior Manager (Emission Trading System) in the CM Punjab Green Credit Program, leading design and implementation of the province's emission trading system and carbon pricing strategies.

• Lead the design and implementation of ETS and carbon pricing strategies
• Support during the hiring of the consultancy firm
• Work with the consulting firm and individual consultants working on ETS and support during industrial surveys for the construction of baselines
• Carry out the necessary coordination with relevant departments and authorities
• Recommend the appropriate marketing system for ETS
• Prescribe institutional arrangements including software system and properly calibrated hardware system
• Any other task assigned by the higher authorities

• Bachelor's or Master's or MPhil - Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Energy Engineering (18 years) with 08 years' experience, OR Bachelor's degree in the same fields (16 years) with 10 years' experience, in Chemical Engineering/Sciences, Energy Engineering/Sciences, Environmental Engineering, recognised by HEC
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Energy Engineering with 08 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor's degree in the same disciplines with 10 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with voluntary and compliance-based carbon trading platforms, emissions inventorying, industrial/process engineering including boilers and power plants
• Experience with projects related to pollution/emissions load assessment and CDM
• Knowledge of carbon pricing mechanisms, carbon credit trading, cap-and-trade systems and market-based climate policies

• Required experience: At least 8 years
• Master's degree with 08 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, in regulatory compliance related to carbon markets
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
