About this vacancy
Ensure procurements are conducted in a fair and transparent manner and that procurement processes remain efficient and economical. Position is based in Islamabad. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection process. No TA/DA shall be admissible. The PMU reserves the right to adjust the number of posts or cancel the recruitment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee transparent, competitive procurement aligned with PMU and Government guidelines
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services per specifications
- Establish procurement controls and compliance systems
- Supervise documentation and record maintenance
- Support capacity building for Partner Organizations
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Monitor compliance and identify risks
- Provide logistical support to the PMU
- Maintain stakeholder relationships
- Perform other assigned duties
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - MBA, EMBA, Master in Development Management, MA Social Sciences, in Business Administration, Social Sciences, recognised by HEC
- Master's degree or equivalent (16 years education) in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field
- Strong administrative and report-writing skills
- Experience with livelihoods asset transfers and multi-stakeholder development projects
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 10 years
- Minimum 10 years in procurement within international or national development sectors
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 52 years
