Senior Officer Finance & Accounts at EXIM Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad, covering accounting, financial reporting and regulatory compliance for the bank.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure closing adjusting entries are complete and correct in Oracle Financial and post adjusting entries
- Reconcile the bank's investment portfolio and all bank accounts
- Handle accounting, taxation and reconciliations in daily operations including insurance accounting and relevant IFRS
- Prepare information for statutory reporting to the State Bank of Pakistan and submit returns on time
- Maintain records as required by regulators and the bank
- Liaise with other departments on statutory disclosures and information requests
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and reporting and perform other tasks assigned by line management
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, in Accounting & Finance, recognised by HEC
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from an HEC-recognized university
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience; experience with financial institutions may be advantageous
- Experience accepted from: Financial Institutions
