Web Developer at the Artificial Intelligence Delivery Unit, building web applications, portals and the AI portfolio dashboard.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications and interfaces for AI products, internal tools and public-facing portals
- Integrate front-ends with AI/data APIs; implement authentication, role-based access and usage analytics
- Maintain the AIDU website and digital properties in coordination with the Communications & Outreach Specialist
- Apply accessibility, performance and security best practices and support user testing and iteration
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT, in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
- Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field from an HEC-recognized university
- Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
- JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js or equivalent, modern CSS
- Backend basics: Node/Python APIs, databases, cloud deployment
- Integration of LLM/AI APIs into web products
- Git, CI/CD, testing; UI/UX sensibility
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- At least 3 years of full-stack web development with a live portfolio of shipped applications
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
