About this vacancy
Accounts Assistant in the Project Management Unit of the Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) - Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore, through trenchless technology, at WASA Lahore.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist the Manager (Admin & Finance) in all tasks related to finance and administration
- Prepare draft payments as per rules for checking and signature by the Manager Finance & Admin
- Process all payments diligently in accordance with prevailing financial management practices and rules
- Coordinate with the Bank, EAD, Finance Department GoPb, HUD & PHED and the AG Office on all financial matters including preparation of cheques and vouchers, opening of accounts, disbursement of payments and preparation and approval of SNE
- Maintain registers and records of payments and transactions
- Assist in implementation of FMIS
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - B.Com from an HEC recognized university, in Commerce, recognised by HEC
- B.Com from an HEC recognized university with at least 3 years of relevant experience in financial management
- The project is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB); recruitment is on contract basis for the Project Management Unit
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
