Assistant Manager Electrical (PPS-8)

Assistant Manager Electrical in the Project Management Unit of the Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) - Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore, through trenchless technology, at WASA Lahore.

• Assist the Manager (E&M) in related tasks to accomplish the goals of the project
• Supervise all unit activities related to electrical works pertaining to design
• Work closely with consultants and contractors to ensure efficient project design and implementation
• Prepare and coordinate project plans, schedules and presentations, comment on design and scheduling and suggest possible cost saving measures
• Ensure implementation of the approved programme of work and coordinate removal of bottlenecks
• Provide coaching and mentoring to the team and ensure ongoing learning and development
• Ensure compliance with relevant conditions of contract through consultants
• Review and scrutinize cost estimates and variations
• Formulate SOPs for different components of TBM operation
• Arrange regular training for staff
• Supervise activities on the SCADA system
• Develop an equipment maintenance plan according to SOPs and the O&M manual
• Assist the Manager (E&M) in providing technical directions for design and implementation
• Any other task assigned by the Manager (E&M) during the project

• Bachelor's or Master's - B.S or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from an HEC recognized university, registered with PEC, in Electrical Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• B.S or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from an HEC recognized university registered with PEC with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• The project is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB); recruitment is on contract basis for the Project Management Unit

• Required experience: At least 5 years
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 25 – 40 years
