About this vacancy
Assistant Manager Legal in the Project Management Unit of the Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) - Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore, through trenchless technology, at WASA Lahore.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare comments on writ petitions
- Attend court proceedings on behalf of the PMU
- Coordinate court proceedings for submission of para-wise comments and timely transmission of court decisions to the PMU
- Handle all legal matters efficiently for effective resolution of litigation
- Provide legal opinions where required
- Any other task assigned by the Project Director during the project
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - LLB / LLM from an HEC recognized university, registered with the Punjab Bar Council, in Law, recognised by HEC
- LLB / LLM from an HEC recognized university and registered with the Punjab Bar Council having a minimum of 6 years of practising experience in higher courts or public/private organizations
- Note: the portal's Degree Area field lists Electrical Engineering for this post, which contradicts the LLB/LLM qualification stated in the job description
- The project is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB); recruitment is on contract basis for the Project Management Unit
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 6 years
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
