Assistant Manager Civil (PPS-8)

Assistant Manager Civil in the Project Management Unit of the Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) - Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore, through trenchless technology, at WASA Lahore.

• Assist the Project Director and Manager (Civil) in related tasks to accomplish the goals of the project
• Supervise all unit activities related to civil and public health works pertaining to design
• Work closely with consultants and contractors to ensure efficient project design and implementation
• Coordinate with executing and funding agencies, banks and other government departments on technical matters for effective and timely decision making
• Prepare project plans, schedules and presentations, comment on design and scheduling and suggest possible cost saving measures
• Ensure implementation of the approved programme of work and coordinate removal of bottlenecks
• Provide coaching and mentoring to the team and ensure ongoing learning and development
• Ensure compliance with relevant conditions of contract through consultants
• Review and scrutinize cost estimates and variations
• Formulate SOPs for different components of the LARECH project operation
• Arrange regular training for staff
• Develop an equipment maintenance plan according to SOPs and the O&M manual
• Provide technical directions for design and implementation of the project
• Any other task assigned by the Manager (Civil) during the project

• Bachelor's or Master's - B.S or B.Sc in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized university, registered with PEC, in Civil Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• B.S or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized university registered with PEC with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
