Assistant Director (Governance, Risk Assessment and Compliance)

NADRA requires an Assistant Director (Governance, Risk Assessment and Compliance) on a contractual basis at Islamabad, responsible for security and AI governance, risk assessments, compliance monitoring and ISO audits. Selected candidate will undergo a 6 months probation period, extendable subject to performance.

• Apply security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls
• Act as technical resource for security assessment and compliance
• Monitor compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 and PKI/Web Trust Controls
• Perform risk assessments and maintain risk registers
• Assist in AI system risk assessments
• Monitor Gen AI usage, LLM risks, prompt injection risks, data exposure risks and Shadow AI
• Apply risk identification, analysis and mitigation methodologies
• Formulate IS policies, SOPs and instructions
• Conduct audits as per ISO requirements and prepare audit reports
• Communicate security and compliance information to senior management and technical teams

• Bachelor's - BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, BS Cyber Security, BS Information Security, BS Data Science, BS Artificial Intelligence, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's (4 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Information Security/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence or equivalent from an HEC recognized university
• Degrees must be attested by HEC
• Minimum 2-3 years post-graduation experience with at least 2 years in GRC roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• NOC required for Government/Semi-Government employees

• Required experience: 2 – 3 years
• Minimum 2-3 years post-graduation experience with at least 2 years in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance roles and 1-2 years exposure to AI Governance/AI Risk Assessments; ISO-27001, CISM and CISA certification preferred

• All candidates: 18 – 37 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 4 Oct 2026.
• The upper limit already includes the general age relaxation of 5 years; it is not added again.
