NUST invites online applications for the post of Assistant Professor - Environmental Sciences (Fresh PhD) at School of Civil & Environmental Engineering, SCEE HQ. Job Reference: Job/F38-RA1/10/12/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials in assigned subjects
- Prepare course outlines, teaching materials, and assessments
- Supervise student projects, assignments, and research work
- Participate in academic, departmental, and institutional activities
Eligibility criteria
- PhD Atmospheric Sciences, BS/MS Environmental Sciences
- Environmental Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Computer Sciences & Data Sciences
- Preferred specialization: Disaster Risk Management, Health and Safety, Carbon Market/Circular Economy, Data Sciences
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Fresh PhD candidates are encouraged to apply

- All candidates: 25 – 50 years
