About this vacancy
NADRA requires a Deputy Assistant Director (System Administrator) on a contractual basis at Islamabad HQ, responsible for data center monitoring, first-level troubleshooting of Linux/Windows servers and network issues, and routine system operations. Selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, extendable if required. Must be willing to work in any shift as per requirement.
Duties and responsibilities
- Monitor Data Center infrastructure, NMS dashboards and service status
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for Linux systems, Windows servers and network issues and escalate when required
- Execute routine operations including backup verification, job schedule checks and system health monitoring
- Work with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, TCP/IP, basic networking and information security concepts
- System administration in cloud environments (preferred)
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, BS Software Engineering, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent from an HEC recognized university
- Degrees must be attested by HEC
- Willing to work in any shift as per requirement
- NOC required for Government/Semi-Government employees
Experience required
- Required experience: Up to 1 year
- 0-1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 30 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 4 Oct 2026.
