About this vacancy
NDMA seeks to hire eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months (extendable on requirement basis). Posts filled on open merit basis. Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months. Lump-sum monthly package depends on domain skills and relevant experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop AI applications for infrastructure and disaster management
- Automate detection of damaged buildings, roads, bridges and assets from imagery
- Develop computer vision and NLP applications
- Support AI-based early warning and decision-support systems
- Integrate AI models with NDMA dashboards and portals
Eligibility criteria
- Master's - MS Artificial Intelligence, in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, recognised by HEC
- Core skills: deep learning, computer vision, object detection, segmentation, NLP, model deployment, API development
- Tools: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, YOLO, Hugging Face, FastAPI/Flask, Docker, Git, CUDA

- No TA/DA for test/interview
Experience required
- Required experience: 4 – 6 years
- 4-6 years relevant experience
