NUST invites online applications for the post of Lab Engineer - Energy Systems Engineering at US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy, Department of Energy Systems Engineering. Job Reference: Job/F190/10/12/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and experimental setups
- Assist faculty and students during lab sessions and practical work
- Ensure proper calibration, safety compliance, and functioning of lab instruments
- Support in preparation of lab manuals, experiments, and technical documentation
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - BSc Energy, BSc Energy Systems Engineering, MS Energy/Energy Systems (preferred), in Energy Engineering, recognised by HEC, PEC
- Relevant PEC registration number required
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Previous experience as lab engineer for UG/teaching labs and knowledge of OBE system will be given preference
Age limit
- All candidates: 22 – 40 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 1 Nov 2026.
