About this vacancy
Procurement & Contracts Specialist for the WWTP Babu Sabu project. Position in the Project Management Unit for construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Babu Sabu, Lahore, under the Punjab Water and Sanitation Authority (PWASA). Appointment is project based for the duration of the project.
Duties and responsibilities
- Plan and execute procurement of works, goods and consultancy services for the project
- Prepare bidding documents, RFPs and evaluation reports in line with applicable procurement rules
- Administer construction and consultancy contracts under FIDIC conditions
- Process variations, claims and contractual correspondence
- Maintain complete and auditable procurement and contract records
- Advise the Project Director on procurement and contractual risk
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - B.Sc Engineering, Master in Project Management, Master in Economics, Master in Finance, Master in Commerce, Master in Public Procurement, Master in Contract Management, in Engineering, Project Management, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Public Procurement, Contract Management, recognised by HEC
- B.Sc in Engineering, or Masters in Project Management, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Public Procurement or Contract Management
- Experience of FIDIC contract management is required
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 12 years
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
