About this vacancy
NDMA seeks to hire eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months (extendable on requirement basis). Posts filled on open merit basis. Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months. Lump-sum monthly package depends on domain skills and relevant experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Handle financial matters of NDMA Assignment Account and discharge DDO functions
- Exercise financial control over expenditure against budgetary allocation
- Prepare, check and process bills
- Maintain books of accounts, Cash Book and financial records
- Monitor expenditure and budget utilization
- Prepare reconciliation with AGPR records
- Compile expenditure statements and draft financial reports
- Track outstanding advances and liabilities
- Liaise with AGPR and Finance Division
- Ensure compliance with financial rules and delegated powers
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - BS/MS Accounting, BS/MS Finance, BS/MS Commerce, BS/MS Business Administration (Finance/Accounting), in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, recognised by HEC
- BS/MS from HEC recognized university
- ACCA, CMA/ICMA or equivalent preferred

Experience required
- Experience in public sector finance preferred
