Chief Engineer on project based contractual appointment in the Project Management & Implementation Unit of the Punjab Cattle Market Management & Development Company, leading construction works and contract management. Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction works of the company
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with FIDIC and contract management practices
- Provide senior engineering management and technical oversight of projects
- Head the Project Management & Implementation Unit
- Review designs, estimates and tender documents for company projects
- Monitor project progress, quality and cost control
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelors (16 Years) - BS Civil Engineering, BSc Civil Engineering, BE Civil Engineering, in Civil Engineering/Sciences, Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, recognised by HEC
- BS, BSc or BE Civil Engineering from a recognized institute
- Valid registration with PEC as a professional engineer is mandatory
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 15 years
- Minimum fifteen years of relevant experience of construction works in a private or public sector organization including at least five years in a senior management position; knowledge and practical experience of FIDIC and contract management preferred
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
