Lead the development, alignment and periodic refresh of the National Digital Masterplan and its strategic frameworks, turning national priorities into evidence-based choices, coordinated sectoral plans and measurable outcomes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead the National Digital Masterplan and its sectoral and implementation plans through governance and approval
- Conduct strategic diagnostics and digital maturity assessments
- Develop policy and investment options with economic analysis and prioritisation criteria
- Coordinate federal, provincial and local stakeholders, regulators and industry partners
- Lead strategic foresight and research on emerging technologies and economic trends
- Define the monitoring and evaluation framework and outcome measures with Delivery Excellence
- Build strategy and research capability, brief executive forums and recommend course corrections
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Technology Management, Engineering or related discipline; relevant Master's preferred, in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Senior leadership experience
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 15 years
- At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in strategy, public policy, digital transformation or economic planning including senior leadership
