Deputy Director IT Infrastructure (MP-III Scale)

Deputy Director IT Infrastructure on MP-III scale at the Ministry of Railways, leading cloud and on-premises infrastructure strategy, automation, service-level objectives, IT architecture and network builds.

• Lead delivery of cloud and on-premises infrastructure strategies that support business goals
• Define, measure and meet service-level objectives for availability, performance and incidents
• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture and processes
• Work with organizational stakeholders to identify and deliver IT solutions
• Serve as subject expert for IaaS architecture and automation on-premises and in the cloud
• Assess third-party solutions and support procurement
• Oversee network builds from procurement through to service

• Master's or PhD - PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Master's degree in a relevant field including MBA (CIST/IT/MIS), in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, recognised by HEC

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• PhD in a relevant field with 3 years of professional IT experience, or a Master's in a relevant field (including MBA in CIST/IT/MIS) with 5 years of professional IT experience
