Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is hiring an IT Technician in Nokundi, District Chagai, Balochistan. The main duty of the post is to install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment at the mining project site. The post requires Diploma in IT/Networking with at least 3 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment at the mining project site
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, operating systems, and network-related issues
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi access points, routers, and switches
- Maintain network connectivity between site offices, accommodation camps, control rooms, and other project facilities
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, antivirus checks, and data backups to ensure system reliability
- Install and troubleshoot IP telephones, CCTV systems, and other IT-related communication equipment
- Maintain IT asset inventories, equipment records, technical documentation, and service reports
- Coordinate with the IT team and service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure uninterrupted IT services at the mining site
Eligibility criteria
- Diploma in IT/Networking, in Information Technology
- Education: Diploma in IT/Networking
- IT Hardware & Software Troubleshooting
- IT Support & Helpdesk

Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- Min 3 Yrs post qual experience in relevant field
