About this vacancy
Serve as PSEB's central resource for organizational data, analytics, industry intelligence, research and management reporting. The position reports to the Director Industry Facilitation within the Business Development & Industry Facilitation Department and requires strict confidentiality of sensitive institutional and inter-agency data as per PSEB policies.
Duties and responsibilities
- Data management and governance across exports, companies and industry facilitation
- ICT export analysis and forecasting by market and region
- Industry intelligence and periodic sector snapshots
- Company data collection and analysis for market access support
- Lead, event and program analytics tracking MoUs and contracts
- Dashboards and executive reporting for management stakeholders
- Research and international benchmarking studies
- Impact and policy analysis for incentives and initiatives
- Stakeholder coordination with internal and external entities
- Project and institutional support for evaluations and reports
- Data quality, standardization and automation improvements
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Minimum 16 years education (Master's degree) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, recognised by HEC
- Minimum 16 years education (Master's degree) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field from an HEC recognized institution
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or equivalent
- Working knowledge of SQL and advanced spreadsheet analysis
- Experience with data collection frameworks and dataset management
- Proficiency in data cleaning, validation and quality assurance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Public sector, ICT industry or consulting experience preferred
- Python or R proficiency preferred
- Understanding of Pakistan's IT sector and ICT exports preferred
- Relevant data analytics certifications preferred
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 4 years
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in data analysis, business intelligence, research, performance monitoring or industry analytics
