About this vacancy
NDMA seeks to hire eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months (extendable on requirement basis). Posts filled on open merit basis. Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months. Lump-sum monthly package depends on domain skills and relevant experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for disaster risk assessment, forecasting and early warning
- Design and manage AI/ML data pipelines for real-time processing
- Implement MLOps and DevOps practices
- Integrate AI-enabled applications and APIs with NDMA platforms
- Develop Generative AI, LLM and RAG-based solutions
- Manage containerized and cloud AI deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Monitor and optimize AI models and infrastructure
- Develop PoCs for emerging AI and DevOps technologies
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - MS/BS Artificial Intelligence, MS/BS Computer Science, MS/BS Software Engineering, MS/BS Data Science, MS/BS Information Technology, in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, recognised by HEC
- Skills: Python, ML/AI frameworks, SQL, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, cloud platforms, MLflow, databases, LLM/RAG

Experience required
- Relevant experience in AI/ML development, MLOps, DevOps, software development, cloud/containerized environments or deployment of AI-enabled applications
