About this vacancy
NDMA seeks to hire eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months (extendable on requirement basis). Posts filled on open merit basis. Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months. Lump-sum monthly package depends on domain skills and relevant experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Install, configure and monitor data communications network equipment
- Manage service networks for optimal performance
- Monitor network traffic using NMS systems
- Implement cybersecurity best practices including firewalls, antivirus and access controls
- Arrange upgrades and investigate network faults
- Work with ISPs and vendors for connectivity
- Manage firewall policies, VPNs and secure remote access
- Operate and manage PABX, VoIP and video conferencing systems
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - MS/BS Computer Science, MS/BS Computer Networks, MS/BS IT, in Computer Science, Information Technology, recognised by HEC
- MS/BS Computer Science/Computer Networks/IT from HEC recognized institution
- CCNP/CCNA preferable
