About this vacancy
Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is hiring a BIM / AutoCAD Operator in Nokundi, District Chagai, Balochistan. The main duty of the post is to collect survey data from the project site and prepare shop drawings and sketches using computer applications. The post requires Bachelor/ Diploma in relevant field with at least 5 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collect survey data / information from the project site & prepare shop drawings / sketches, using computer oriented applications
- Analyze & prepare cross sections of road, retaining walls & breast walls etc
- Maintain complete files of drawings / sketches of projects for record keeping
- Calculate BOQs of the cross sections of various works on project in consultation with CQS
- Maintain files record of drawings hard copy
- Maintain AutoCAD Data
- Maintain 3D Data
- Updating software, drawings, and other documents
- Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles
- Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects
- Visiting sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor
Eligibility criteria
- Diploma or Bachelor's - Bachelor, Diploma
- Education: Bachelor/ Diploma in relevant field
- Creating and editing technical drawings
- Preparing accurate engineering drawing
- Ensuring accuracy in dimensions and measurement
Experience required
- Required experience: 5 – 8 years
- Min 5-8 Yrs post qual experience
