About this vacancy
NDMA seeks to hire eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months (extendable on requirement basis). Posts filled on open merit basis. Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months. Lump-sum monthly package depends on domain skills and relevant experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage coordination with UN agencies and UN-supported DRR initiatives
- Facilitate AI-based tools for tracking UN projects and commitments
- Support development of UN Coordination Portal
- Maintain repository of UN guidelines, reports and datasets
- Support AI-enabled learning modules and capacity building
- Consolidate and visualize UN-supported activities through dashboards
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - BS/MS Development Studies, BS/MS Disaster Risk Management, BS/MS Earth Sciences, in Development Studies, Disaster Management, Earth Sciences, recognised by HEC
- Hands-on proficiency in GIS software and geospatial technologies

Experience required
- Required experience: 4 – 6 years
- BS with minimum 6 years or MS with minimum 4 years relevant experience with GIS proficiency and experience with UN agencies/international humanitarian organizations
