Duties and responsibilities
- Digitize and maintain spatial data layers for forest and wildlife areas
- Carry out data entry, attribute tagging and quality checks on GIS datasets
- Prepare basic maps and map layouts for departmental use
- Assist with field data collection and GPS point capture
- Support senior GIS staff with processing and archiving of spatial data
- Maintain records of datasets, sources and updates
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - Bachelors (14 years) (second division) in Space Sciences, Geographical Information System, RS & GIS, Geo-informatics, Geography or Geomatics, in Geographical Information System (GIS), Geography, recognised by HEC
- Bachelor's degree (second division) from an HEC recognized university in Space Sciences, Geographical Information System, RS & GIS, Geo-informatics, Geography, Geomatics or equivalent
- Second Division (45% and above) required
Experience required
