Assistant Director / IT Operations Engineer

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) is hiring an Assistant Director / IT Operations Engineer (EG-01) on regular basis under the Defined Contribution Scheme. The post manages IT operations including systems, helpdesk services, vendor contracts and IT procurement. Candidates need a 16-year BS/BE in Computer Science, IT or a related field and at least 3 years of experience managing IT operations in a large organization.

• Bachelor's - BS, BE, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Information Technology
• BS/BE in Computer Science / Electronics / Communication / Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2nd Division (minimum 16 years education)
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Good knowledge of Networks and Cloud Computing
• Monitoring and testing applications for optimized performance
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage Helpdesk Services for user guidance and support
• Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. SLA and software licenses)
• Ability to manage IT procurements including hardware analysis and RFP preparation
• Domicile of the relevant province / region
• Willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of PAA
• Appointment subject to PAA medical fitness standards

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• Minimum 3 years post qualification experience of managing IT operations in a large organization

• All candidates: 18 – 45 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 6 Nov 2026.
