About this vacancy
Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) is hiring an Assistant Director / IT Network Engineer (EG-01) on regular basis under the Defined Contribution Scheme. The post involves managing and monitoring corporate IT networks and network security. Candidates need a 16-year BS/BE in Computer Science, IT or a related field and at least 3 years of post qualification experience.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - BS, BE, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Information Technology
- BS/BE in Computer Science / Electronics / Communication / Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2nd Division (minimum 16 years education)
- Thorough understanding of L2/L3 protocols and technologies: TCP/IP (V4 & V6) and related protocols
- Ability to maintain network security by monitoring security threats and vulnerabilities and recommending solutions
- Strong communication / documentation skills with Software and Database concepts / awareness
- Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) will be given preference
- Domicile of the relevant province / region
- Willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of PAA
- Appointment subject to PAA medical fitness standards
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in managing and monitoring corporate IT networks and faults / complaints resolution
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 30 years
