Assistant Director IT (Cyber Security)

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) is hiring an Assistant Director IT (Cyber Security) (EG-01) on regular basis under the Defined Contribution Scheme. The post handles cyber security operations, risk and vulnerability assessments and information security policies in line with ISO/IEC 27001. Candidates need a 16-year BS/BE in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT or a related field and at least 3 years of cyber security experience.

• Bachelor's - BS, BE, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology
• BS/BE in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Cyber Security / Information Security / Information Technology or equivalent with at least 2nd Division (minimum 16 years education)
• Thorough understanding of information security standards including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Ability to carry out gap analysis, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
• Ability to implement, monitor and maintain information security policies, procedures and standards in line with ISO/IEC 27001
• Familiar with audit procedures and preparation of replies to audit observations
• Strong communication / negotiation skills with good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Domicile of the relevant province / region
• Willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of PAA
• Appointment subject to PAA medical fitness standards

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in Cyber Security operations
