Assistant Director IT (Technology Transformation)

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) is hiring an Assistant Director IT (Technology Transformation) (EG-01) on regular basis under the Defined Contribution Scheme. The post researches emerging IT technologies, assesses organizational needs and handles feasibility studies, RFPs and contracts under PPRA rules. Candidates need a 16-year BS/BE in Computer Science, IT or Business Studies, or a BBA in Business Analytics / IT, with at least 3 years of experience.

• Bachelor's - BS, BE, BBA (Business Analytics / Information Technology), in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration
• BS/BE in Computer Science / Electronics / Communication / Information Technology / Business Studies with at least 2nd Division (minimum 16 years education) OR BBA in Business Analytics / Information Technology
• Thorough understanding of PPRA Rules and EPADS; good knowledge of logistics / tender procedures in a public sector organization
• Ability to carry out feasibility studies, prepare RFPs and conduct financial and technical analysis
• Proficiency to prepare and manage contracts; good knowledge of project management and documentation
• Familiar with audit procedures and preparation of replies to audit observations
• Strong communication / negotiation skills with good understanding of industry trends
• Domicile of the relevant province / region
• Willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of PAA
• Appointment subject to PAA medical fitness standards

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in market research and analysis of cutting edge IT technologies, assessing organizational current and future needs and suggesting IT driven solutions

• All candidates: 18 – 30 years
