About this vacancy
Infrastructure Specialist / Deputy Project Director for the WWTP Babu Sabu project. Position in the Project Management Unit for construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Babu Sabu, Lahore, under the Punjab Water and Sanitation Authority (PWASA). Appointment is project based for the duration of the project.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist the Project Director in day-to-day management of the Project Management Unit
- Lead technical review of infrastructure designs, drawings and specifications
- Supervise construction supervision consultants and contractors on site
- Monitor physical progress against the approved work programme
- Review contractor claims, variations and interim payment certificates
- Coordinate with utilities, local government and other stakeholders
- Act for the Project Director in his absence
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - B.Sc Civil Engineering, recognised by HEC
- B.Sc Civil Engineering from a PEC-recognized institution
- Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Registered Engineer is required
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 11 years
- Minimum 11 years of relevant experience
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
Age limit
