Mechanical Specialist

Mechanical Specialist for the WWTP Babu Sabu project. Position in the Project Management Unit for construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Babu Sabu, Lahore, under the Punjab Water and Sanitation Authority (PWASA). Appointment is project based for the duration of the project.

• Review mechanical designs, equipment specifications and shop drawings for the treatment plant
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment
• Verify contractor compliance with mechanical specifications and quality standards
• Review mechanical components of contractor claims and payment certificates
• Advise the Project Director on mechanical engineering matters
• Prepare operation and maintenance requirements for mechanical assets

• Bachelor's - B.Sc Mechanical Engineering, recognised by HEC
• B.Sc Mechanical Engineering from a PEC-recognized institution
• Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Registered Engineer is required

• Required experience: At least 12 years
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 37 – 55 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 25 Nov 2026.
