Project Director (WWTP Babu Sabu)

Project Director for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Babu Sabu, Lahore. Position in the Project Management Unit for construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Babu Sabu, Lahore, under the Punjab Water and Sanitation Authority (PWASA). Appointment is project based for the duration of the project.

• Provide overall leadership and direction to the Project Management Unit
• Oversee planning, design review, procurement and construction of the wastewater treatment plant
• Ensure delivery of the project within approved scope, time, cost and quality parameters
• Represent the project before government, financiers and regulatory bodies
• Approve technical decisions, variations and contractual claims
• Supervise specialists, engineers and support staff of the PMU
• Report project progress to PWASA management and the competent authority

• Bachelor's - B.Sc Civil Engineering, B.Sc Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc Public Health Engineering, B.Sc Environmental Engineering, in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Environmental Engineering, recognised by HEC
• B.Sc in Civil, Mechanical, Public Health or Environmental Engineering from a PEC-recognized institution
• Foreign qualification will be preferred
• Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Registered Engineer is required

• Required experience: At least 15 years
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 40 – 62 years
