Research Assistant

Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is hiring for the post of Research Assistant (Grade-7) on a contract basis. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Economics or Journalism and at least 2 years of experience. • Purpose of the Position The Research Assistant will provide dedicated research support for Digital Nation Pakistan (DNP) by tracking developments across Pakistan’s digital sector, including government initiatives, industry, connectivity, and digital-economy developments
• The role will provide verified facts, figures, and context for the content pipeline
• Key Responsibilities Monitor and log digital-sector developments in Pakistan on an ongoing basis
• Produce research briefs, fact sheets, and background notes for articles, posts, and speeches
• Verify facts, statistics, and sources for all content before publication
• Maintain a reference library of reports, data, and coverage relevant to DNP
• Experience Suggested minimum 2+ years of relevant experience

• Key Competencies Strong research and verification skills, including use of government and industry data sources
