About this vacancy
Specialist Finance at the Punjab Skills Development Fund. The Finance Specialist will ensure the control mechanism to enhance the accuracy of financial information and to comply with audit requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
- Carry out monthly compilation of the Trial Balance including accruals (programme and non-programme) for timely and accurate monthly reporting including Budget versus Actual
- Prepare monthly reconciliations including inter-company, employees' advances and their adjustments, TSP balances and taxes payable
- Support preparation of annual budgets and assist the Manager Finance and CFO through to BOD approval, and monitor the budget regularly after approval
- Verify accounting entries into SAP for correct postings and provide guidance to all related staff
- Support the external audit from final Trial Balance through to disclosure requirements in the financial statements, and liaise with external auditors to complete the audit in a timely manner
- Assist the CFO and Manager Finance in daily operations including team management, funds management and raising requisitions to donors
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the CFO and Manager Finance
Eligibility criteria
- Master's or MPhil - MS/M-Phill (18 years) in Finance, recognised by HEC
- Working knowledge of SAP
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 4 years
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations, Development Sector Organizations
