About this vacancy
Chief Audit Officer at the Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority, leading internal audit, risk management and compliance.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based internal audits
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest improvements
- Ensure compliance with financial and administrative rules
- Investigate financial irregularities and prepare audit reports
- Liaise with external auditors including the AG Office
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - ACCA, ICMA, CA, Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Finance, Accounting or Commerce, in Accounting, Chartered Accountancy, Commerce, Cost Accounting, Finance, Public Finance, Corporate Finance, recognised by HEC
- ACCA, ICMA or CA, or minimum 16 years of education in Finance, Accounting or Commerce or equivalent from an HEC recognized national or foreign university
- Preference for experience with medium to high revenue projects and programs covering reporting requirements, disbursement procedures, submission of withdrawal applications, maintenance of Special Drawing Accounts and government accounting procedures
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- At least five (05) years of verifiable relevant post-qualification experience in public or private sectors, specifically in internal audit, risk management and compliance
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations, Government Agencies, NGOs, Donor Organizations
