Balochistan PSC (BPSC) Documents Required

BPSC applications are online only, through its website, and no hard copy is needed. The fee is paid online against a PSID - green challans have not been accepted since 5 May 2026. At the test, the original CNIC and the admission certificate are mandatory.

Candidates who pass the written or MCQ test are told by post, SMS and phone to submit one set of documents, verified by the issuing board or university and attested by a gazetted officer, within 10 days of BPSC's notice. Late, incorrect or incomplete documents get the candidature rejected straight away. Eligibility is fully checked only then, so a candidate found ineligible loses the candidature even after passing the test.

Board and university verification takes time, and 10 days is short - start it before the test result.

• Four photographs.
• Matric and Intermediate certificates and DMCs.
• Bachelor's, Master's, MPhil or PhD transcripts and degrees.
• CNIC.
• Experience certificate showing the nature of the job, with a detailed job description from an authorised officer.
• Local / domicile certificate, verified by the competent authority.
• Departmental Permission Certificate, if you are a government servant.

A Balochistan local or domicile certificate is the basic condition of eligibility, and you submit the one for your own district. Vacancies are split by zone under the Balochistan Recruitment Policy of 1991, so the district decides which seats you compete for. From Advertisement 07/2026, BPSC entertains no request to change the local or domicile after the closing date.

A married woman not already in government service who applies on her husband's local or domicile must submit his certificate with her name on it. In-service candidates use the local or domicile on their department's service record.

BPSC does not consider a candidate whose result was not officially declared by the closing date, and higher qualifications do not make up for a missing essential one. For a degree that shows only a CGPA, it accepts a total and obtained marks or percentage certificate from the university's Controller of Examinations; equivalence decided by HEC, PMC, PEC or a designated committee is accepted.

Experience is post-qualification experience in a regular, full-time, paid job up to the closing date; part-time, honorary, apprentice and internee work does not count. Contract, ad-hoc or acting service is backed by the appointment letters as well as the certificate.

• Disability quota: registration as disabled with the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (Social Welfare Department), a declaration that you are fit for the job, and the Council's certificate.
• Age: counted on the closing date from your Matric date of birth; under or over by even one day is not eligible. Advertisement 09/2026 sets 43 as the ceiling for fresh candidates, persons with disabilities and legal heirs of Shaheed, and 50 for government servants with two years' service.
• From the older FAQ only: three character certificates for fresh candidates (head of last institution and two gazetted officers), and ex-defence personnel applying through the Ministry of Defence. Follow the advertisement where the two differ.

4. Above it are the risks in your answers: red for a listed reason to reject, amber to check, green to have ready - each with what to do and the official rule.

• Waiting for the test result before starting board and university verification - BPSC gives 10 days.
• Applying on the wrong district and hoping to change it later - since September 2026 BPSC does not allow it.
• A husband's local certificate that does not carry the wife's name.
• Paying the fee by green challan - BPSC accepts only the online PSID payment now.
• An experience certificate with no description of the job.
