When AJK PSC checks your documents
You are called to the test on the strength of the online form, and sit it provisionally and at your own risk. Before the interview - or earlier if the Commission says so - you give attested photocopies of every required document so that your eligibility can be checked. Shortlisted candidates are then called for physical verification of documents one day before the interview, with the originals and one set of photocopies. The policy does not say who may attest.
An original valid CNIC is mandatory at the written test. If yours is expired or lost, the supervisor may let you sit provisionally on an original passport, Family Registration Certificate or the expired CNIC, against an undertaking to show a valid CNIC at the interview.

The closing date and your result
Age, qualification, experience and every other credential are taken as they stand on the closing date, with no relaxation. The result declaration date printed on your transcript is treated as the date you completed the qualification. If the degree is not yet issued, a detailed marks certificate or provisional certificate from the Controller of Examinations is accepted.
Equivalence and registration
If you claim equivalence of a foreign or local qualification, produce the certificate - from HEC, IBCC or the relevant council - when you submit your documents; otherwise the application is liable to rejection and no later claim is accepted. Posts that need registration (a medical officer's PMDC, an engineer's PEC) need it valid when you apply.
Experience
Experience in a regular, full-time, paid job counts - daily-wage and contingent service included - from the date your result was officially announced up to the closing date. Part-time, honorary, self-employed, apprentice and internee work does not. A government or autonomous body's certificate is signed and sealed by the head of the department and countersigned by the Administrative Secretary, and applications without proof of the required experience are rejected.
Names, domicile and disability
AJK PSC goes by the names and the date of birth on your Matric certificate. It accepts a married woman's CNIC in her husband's name with documents in her father's name, and ignores a caste added to or dropped from a name. A married woman may choose her father's or her husband's district of domicile; if she chooses one other than her original domicile, she must present the updated domicile certificate, by application to the Secretary, before shortlisting.
For a disabled-quota post you must be registered as a differently abled person with AJK's Social Welfare Department, declared fit for the job, with its certificate, and say so in the online form.
If AJK PSC rejects you
A rejected candidate may ask for a review within 7 working days; the Commission decides within 15 days and its decision is final. Misinformation or manipulation leads to cancellation of the candidature and debarment from future tests.
